National Convention 1948
Code  1415 Size  4 in. Grade  Choice/XF Price  $1.95
Cigar band, for special souvenir cigars sold at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, Philadelphia, 1948.

The City of Brotherly Love played host to both major party nominating conventions in the summer of 1948. Democrats nominated incumbent Harry Truman, while Republicans renominated their 1944 standard-bearer, Thomas E. Dewey. By not specifying a party, cigars banded in this manner could be sold at either convention.
