Realphoto postcard, settling a wheelbarrow bet on the outcome the presidential election, 1912.
Depicts two men in a frontier town, one, the winner of the bet, being transported in a wheelbarrow pushed by the other, the loser. Inscription verso, "Bill Nally paying a bet on election when Teddy Roosevelt ran for president. To Ed Deere. Nov. 26, 1912."
Unusual; one of only a few period photographs we have seen documenting a wheelbarrow bet.
