Consists of a bar and medallion. The bar features portraits of Harrison and Morton in ovals to either side of the legend, 1889/ INAUGURATION, filigree above and below. Medallion is suspended by a loop, and bears a representation of the White House in a recessed circle enclosed by wreath of olive; inscription above, HARRISON & MORTON; below, WASHINGTON, D.C., crossed flags, shield and eagle.
Although not issued under official auspices, this badge is of such high quality, it was likely worn by a member of the bicentennial inaugural committee.
