Souvenir of the Inauguration Ball held in honor of President Grover Cleveland and Vice President Thomas Hendricks, Pension Building, Washington, DC, March 4th, 1885. A lady's dance card; 16-page engraved booklet bound with red silk cord featuring portraits of Cleveland and Hendricks on the front cover, and the Pension Building on the back. Inside, members of the various Inaugural committees and sub-committees are listed, giving the color of their badges, followed by the order of exercises, order of dancing, with blanks for engagements, and a menu of refreshments.
