Solicits donatations to the Fund, which covered expenses related to a lawsuit brought by the Socialist Workers Party and the Young Socialist Alliance against the government for violation of civil rights. Accuses federal agencies including the CIA, the FBI, and the White House of using "wiretaps, burglary, surveillance, mail tampering, sabotage and even terrorism to try to stop opposition to government policies." Notes that, "The Watergate revelations have uncovered secret government operations that make a mockery of the Bill of Rights." Includes a photograph of a PRDF office destroyed by a bomb blast on Dec. 3, 1973. Verso list of sponsors reads like a "who's who" of the far left: Ramsey Clark, Noam Chomsky, Ruby Dee, Ron Dellums, Daniel Ellsberg, Dick Gregory, Norman Mailer, Eugene McCarthy, Arthur Miller, Charles Rangle, Pete Seeger, Benjamin Spock, Gloria Steinem, I.F. Stone, Howard Zinn, etc. Donors received a Watergate button.
