Lapel stud promoting Benjamin Harrison for president, 1888. Gilt brass. Unlisted in DeWitt, but similar to BH 1888-61. Formed in the shape of a beaver top hat of the fashion worn at the time of the 1840 campaign of Harrison's grandfather, William Henry Harrison (i.e. "the same old hat"). Uncommon.
