Warranty of Authenticity

Legacy Americana provides a lifetime warranty of authenticity with every purchase. This warranty covers every item we sell, whether at auction or at fixed price, and guarantees that items are complete and composed of original parts manufactured at the time, or time period, represented. No reproduction, nor any item we believe to be of disputed origin or later vintage, will knowingly be offered for sale, unless clearly represented as such.

The buyer's sole remedy under this warranty shall be the rescission of the sale and refund of the original purchase price paid for the item, and this remedy shall be exclusive and in lieu of any other remedy otherwise available to the buyer as a matter of law. Legacy Americana shall have no obligation to rescind the sale unless the buyer has obtained, at the buyer's own expense, the opinion of at least one recognized expert in the field, who is mutually agreeable to Legacy Americana and the buyer, that an item is not authentic. Items of questioned authenticity must be returned, with proof of purchase, in the condition originally sold to the buyer.

The benefits of this warranty are not assignable and are applicable only to the original buyer.
