The original version of the official convention poster, commissioned by the City of Dallas and the Republican National Committee, approved for distribution but vetoed by the White House shortly before the convention for violating the protocol that the president always appear to the left of the vice president in official representations.
We acquired a select few from the artist, who has personally signed each one. Protocol violations notwithstanding, a very attractive and colorful poster, with the Dallas Convention Center and city skyline tastefully incorporated.
