This week we begin the largest auction offering in our history. Thirty collections, over 2000 buttons in total, from presidential campaigns dating back to the 1930s, go to the highest bidder, and will be followed by weekly auctions of dealer lots, over 20,000 pieces! So be sure to bookmark us and add legacyamericana to your favorite eBay sellers.
In the coming months, we will liquidate the bulk of our under-$20 inventory. Items will be removed from the website as we lot them up for auction, so if you want just one for your collection, don't delay. Once remainders are sold, these items will not return to the catalog.
If you're a dealer or a collector who trades at shows, this will be a unique opportunity to acquire stock. Our quantity inventory dates back to the "sales list" era, before websites. Indeed, some of it traces its lineage to the Broyles, McSorley, and Enten lists of pre-Internet days, and we are a little sad to see it go. But alas the time has come.
