Pinback buttons promoting Alfred Landon for president, 1936. Celluloid and litho with felt backing. Issued by Business Women's League for Landon.
In his failed bid for the White House in 1936, Landon received strong support from the business community, including the relatively small demographic of Depression-era female business owners. The Landon Business Women's League was based in Vermont, one of only two states carried by the Republican ticket. The group issued these two pinbacks, both scarce.
