Badge of the Tippecanoe Club of Cleveland, Ohio, worn by supporters of Republican presidential candidate Benjamin Harrison, 1888. Ornate brass hanger formed in the shape of a wreath enclosing the letters CT and inscribed, SEMPER FIDELIS/ 1888; from which is suspended a silk ribbon printed, TIPPECANOE/ CLUB/ CLEVELAND, O., with hand-painted eagle, log cabin, and Indian in canoe; wire braid fringe.

One of the most appealing badges from Harrison's campaign, which relied heavily on imagery evoking his presidential pedigree, grandfather William Henry having been elected to the office in 1840.
