Cleveland and Stevenson: High grade jugate medalet badge

Badge promoting Grover Cleveland for president and Adlai Stevenson for vice president, 1892. Brass, white metal. Unlisted jugate medalet (29 mm) suspended from a shield-shaped hanger; original clasp. OBV: Busts of Cleveland and Stevenson vis-a-vis in laurel wreaths, surmounted by shield and scroll inscribed, CLEVELAND STEVENSON. REV: Representation of White House with 1892 below, inscription above, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES/ WHITE HOUSE. A similar medalet was struck for the 1888 campaign, with Thurman in place of Stevenson. We cannot recall seeing the 1892 version, and it was not recorded by DeWitt.
