A New Map of North America, Agreeable to the Latest Discoveries.
London: Robert Wilkinson, 1794.

Copper-engraved map on vellum with hand coloring and shading. Features new data from Cook and Meare explorations, but predates Vancouver and La Perouse. Includes the "River of the West" extending to North Dakota, and names Carver's Oregan (sic) River. Annotated along the California coast and west of the Mississippi, with detail in Texas and the Southern Plains. Shows towns, rivers, mountains, lakes, etc.

America as it looked during the presidency of Washington, prior to the Louisiana Purchase.
