Pamphlet entitled, DEBS AND THE WAR, featuring "His Canton Speech and His Trial in the Federal Court at Cleveland, September, 1918," published by National Office Socialist Party, Chicago, n.d., c. 1925. 8vo, 64 pp, in original buff paper wrappers. Cover artwork depicts Debs waving to supporters from jail. Frontise plate portrait and several halftone illustrations, including Debs planning his 1920 campaign "from behind prison walls." Concludes with account of the campaign to release Debs and other Socialists convicted of sedition during World War I, and a letter from Debs marking his 50th anniversary in the movement. Published just prior to his death. Very scarce imprint.
