One of the first Jews to be elected a U.S. governor, Horner served two terms concurrently with Roosevelt and died in office in 1940. He was a noted Lincoln collector, the subject of a book by Carl Sandburg, and his collection is now displayed at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
A scarce FDR coattail button, with multiple auction records in the $125-150 range.
