Handbill opposing the licensing of saloons and sale of intoxicating beverages, c. 1890. No credit, but likely issued by the Prohibition Party. Castigates the mainstream political parties and urges Christian voters to support "the only party that seeks to suppress the curse of Intemperance." Asks for 60,000 boys to replace a like number of drunkards who die each year, applicants to report to the "United States Gov. Saloon Association" of which there are 200,000 agencies (or saloons). Scarce.
