Pop culture and politics unite in this uncommon RFK button. "Sock it to me" was a line from a Mitch Ryder song, later used as the tagline on Rowan and Martin's Laugh In. It was appropriated by the Kennedy campaign and appears on a handful of buttons, all of which are popular with collectors. This design came in two colors, red and blue, both about equally scarce.
