Posters promoting John St. John for president and William Daniel for vice president, 1884. Published by the New York Witness, a Temperance publication. Light wrinkles and a few small edge tears.

The Prohibition Movement entered the mainstream of American politics in 1884, when the Prohibition Party nominated Kansas governor John St. John and Maryland politician William Daniel, who finished third in the popular vote. Scant material from their campaign exists, these being some of the few posters known to exist. Only a handful likely still survive.
