Scarce pre-statehood Arizona ribbon. Territories had no electoral votes, so the presidential candidate was more a vehicle for territorial candidates of the same party. Delegates would represent territories at the conventions, and Bryan received strong support in the intermountain west, due to his advocacy of free silver.
