Poster publicizing War Savings Stamps (W.S.S.) Pledge Week, during which Americans were encouraged to purchase U.S. War Savings Stamps to fund the war effort, 1917. Pictures President Woodrow Wilson, with the admonition: "You pledged to the President to buy U.S. War Savings Stamps... Buy this week the W.S.S. you pledged for the entire year... Pay though it requires supreme sacrifice." Light folds, with some weakness along fold lines; tears and clips in margins, with minor loss to bottom right border. Displays excellent and can't recall seeing this poster before.
