Medal celebrating Gen. Zachary Taylor, c. 1860. White metal. DeWitt ZT 1848-3. Originally struck for Taylor's 1848 presidential campaign on a thinner flans. This striking on a thick flans dates to about 1860. A few minor abrasions, otherwise a bright, nearly UNC specimen with proof-like surfaces.
