Old Hickory, Long Abe, Little Mac, and The Pathfinder

The 19th century was the heyday of nicknames. Nearly every national political leader had one, not bestowed derisively or with sarcasm as we often see today, but with affection by supporters. The practice goes at least back to Andrew Jackson being

Our plan for the crisis

We were expecting to return to business as usual today, but the world changed while we were out. We're going to make the best of the situation, and hopefully you will see no interruption in service. As a small mail order company, we don't anticipate being as impacted as businesses that rely on foot traffic. But we rely on many other businesses, small and large, for services and supplies, as well as our shipping partners. If these services are interrupted, or there is an area, state or national quarantine or curfew, we may be forced to temporarily suspend operations. Check here for the latest, and stay well.

New website has launched!

The new LegacyAmericana.com is now live! We are working with the development team to iron out any bugs, but so far everything seems to be running smoothly. Let us know if you encounter any issues, and we welcome your feedback, good or bad. It's our goal to provide customers with a pleasant online experience, with seamless navigation, from the homepage to the final page of checkout. We'll continue working to improve, and we thank you for your continued support. Our new website launches Tuesday, March 3

The website will look different in a few days, but everything will (we hope) work the same. As with anything involving technology, there is always a chance something could go wrong, and we ask for your patience if you should encounter any problem using the new site. We have a good team who will respond promptly. The new website will be "mobile friendly" and should work much better on your smart phone or tablet. We also think it will look better, however you view it, but of course that's in the eye of the beholder.

The conversion should go live sometime on Tuesday, March 3. No orders placed on the old site will be affected. Our first priority is always our customers. We'll welcome feedback, and are already planning more improvements for later in the year.
